The Opportunity
WCP Building Renewal is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive the growth of our Building Restoration Division. This is a hybrid role for a sales professional who can hunt for new business, estimate complex scopes, and guide a project.
You will act as the project executive for your accounts. You are not just tossing a signed contract over the fence; you are responsible for the pre-construction setup and maintaining the client relationship while our Operations team executes the work.

Since 2001, WCP Building Renewal has been working with Metro Vancouver’s best-known property groups, property management firms and engineers, protecting and renewing buildings and facilities.
We focus on exterior building restoration and interior building remodels. Our exceptional teams have the skills required to produce large-scale building restorations, waterproofing, painting, and interior remodeling projects. Our continual investment in education and training means we utilize the latest technology and operational procedures to ensure our projects are completed efficiently, safely, on time and on budget.
The team is growing, and we are looking for a talented individual to lead our building restoration division and “make it rain!”
Who You Are
- Industry Experience: You have proven experience in building restoration, waterproofing, or painting sales.
- A “Seller-Doer”: You love the thrill of the chase, but you care deeply about how the job gets built.
- Organized & Accountable: You can manage a pipeline of leads while simultaneously keeping active clients updated.
- Tech-Forward: Comfortable using CRM tools and estimating software to manage your workflow.
This Role Is NOT For
- “pure” Project Managers who do not want to sell or estimate.
- Transactional salespeople who disappear once the contract is signed.
- Candidates who cannot perform estimates or understand engineering reports.
What You Will Own
1. Business Development & Sales (The Hunter)
- Drive new business for concrete restoration, waterproofing, and building envelope projects.
- Build long-term trust with Engineers, Property Managers, and Strata Councils.
- Navigate complex sales cycles, presenting technical solutions to Boards and stakeholders.
2. Technical Estimating (The Architect of the Deal)
- Interpret engineering reports and site conditions to create accurate, profitable estimates.
- Build the scope of work and pricing strategy that balances competitiveness with margin.
3. Pre-Construction & Client Stewardship (The Guardian)
- The Handoff: Lead the transition from “Sales” to “Production.” You will brief the Project Manager, clarify the scope, and ensure the operations team is set up to win.
- Pre-Production: Coordinate early-stage logistics, permits, and submittals before the crew arrives.
- Client Management: Remain the primary point of contact for the client throughout the build. While the Project Manager runs the site, you manage the relationship, handle high-level updates, and ensure the original promise is kept.
Experience required
- 5+ years in Accounts Management roles in interior building renewal, commercial painting or restoration projects
- B2B, account based, sales experience with property groups, property managemen tfirms and engineers
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex renewal discussions, addressing objections, and securing favorable terms for both parties.
- Familiarity with pricing models, contractual terms, and compliance requirements related to building renewals and amendments.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product, and legal, to ensure seamless renewal processes and continuity of service delivery.
- Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management, with the ability to accurately project renewal revenue and manage associated risks.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and competitor offerings to position renewal proposals effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
