Interior Commercial Renewal + Painting | Burnaby
This Burnaby landmark, home to marquee retailers, was modernized through a full renewal of its coating and paint systems. WCP’s work included painting drywall surfaces, railing systems and the building’s distinctive barrel-vault canopies.
The metal substrates on the barrel vaults required extensive restorative preparation before the new coating system could be applied. WCP specified and applied a specialized industrial primer, followed by a one-part waterborne epoxy paint system, to create a durable, long-lasting finish.
To access the higher elevations safely and efficiently, the project required extensive stage scaffolding and specialized aerial lifts. Work was completed over four months, with night shifts scheduled to minimize business interruptions and maximize productivity.
