University Hill: A full exterior painting project in Squamish

WCP Building Renewal completed a full exterior commercial painting and renewal project for a multi-storey apartment complex in Squamish, working closely with the owner, property manager, and design team.

The project began with thorough surface preparation, including power washing and treatment to remove dirt, mildew, and buildup to ensure proper paint adhesion and long-term performance.

Our team then completed targeted repairs, addressing damaged shingles, wood rot in fascia and trim, and other areas of deterioration. These repairs ensured the building was properly restored before coating application.

Two coats of high-performance solid stain were then applied to the siding, shingles, and trim, delivering a clean, consistent finish with durable protection against weather and UV exposure.

Due to the building’s height and layout, access was carefully managed using boom lifts and scaffolding to ensure safe, efficient execution throughout the project.

The result is a well-protected apartment complex with an extended building envelope lifespan and improved curb appeal.
