The Opportunity
WCP Building Renewal is hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead our Interior Remodeling Division. We specialize in common-area upgrades (lobbies, corridors, amenity spaces) for occupied residential buildings.
This role requires a consultative approach. You will work with Designers and Property Managers to turn a vision into a contract, and then ensure that vision is executed faithfully. You are the bridge between the design intent and the construction reality.

We focus on exterior building restoration and interior building remodels. Who You Are
- B2B, account based, sales expert: comfortable with property groups, property managemen tfirms and engineers
- Design-Savvy: You understand interior remodels, finishes, and the sequencing required for occupied renovations.
- Empathetic: You understand that renovating common areas is stressful for residents. You manage emotions as well as budgets.
- A Clear Communicator: You can translate remodeling and restoration language into clear updates for Strata Councils and owners.
- Process-Driven: You are disciplined about handoffs and documentation.
This Role Is NOT For
- Entry-level sales candidates.
- Candidates without commercial or multi-family interior construction experience.
- Those who struggle with the details of finishes and design specs.
What You Will Own
1. Strategic Sales & Consulting (The Guide)
- Identify and secure renovation projects in multi-family and commercial buildings.
- Consult with clients on design-assist upgrades, phasing, and budgets to minimize disruption to residents.
- Build a network of Interior Designers and Property Managers who trust you as their “first call.”
2. Estimating & Scoping (The Detail)
- Create detailed estimates for multi-trade interior work (flooring, millwork, lighting, painting).
- Ensure every finish and detail is accounted for in the proposal to prevent change-order friction later.
3. Pre-Construction & Project Oversight (The Partner)
- The Setup: finalize material selections, order long-lead items, and prepare the “Game Plan” for the production team.
- The Relationship: conduct the pre-construction walkthroughs with the client and the Operations team.
- The Pulse: keep the Property Manager and Council updated on progress. You handle the client communication so the Site Supervisor can focus on the work.
Experience required
- 5+ years in Accounts Management roles in interior building renewal, commercial painting or restoration projects
- Proven experience in managing client renewals and driving high retention rates within an existing account base.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to navigate complex renewal discussions, addressing objections, and securing favorable terms for both parties.
- Familiarity with pricing models, contractual terms, and compliance requirements related to renewals and amendments.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product, and legal, to ensure seamless renewal processes and continuity of service delivery.
- Proficiency in forecasting and pipeline management, with the ability to accurately project renewal revenue and manage associated risks.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and competitor offerings to position renewal proposals effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
